Hi there!

My name is Nadia, I’m an animator 2D !

After my study in China and France, I graduated with an Animation degree in Lycee marie curie. The course covers basic animation lessons on different software such as flash and tvpaint. But it also covers art classes and cinema history. At the end of study, students are multivalent and able to fit in the animation industry.

All I learnt there helped me a lot when I was in Inspidea, an animation studio based in Kuala Lumpur. The basics I got helped me getting harder and harder scenes and after a few months I was given juniors in order to train them on ToonBoom Harmony: basics timing such as ease, animation vocabulary (antic, overlaps etc) on cut-out and traditional animation. I was strict and I guess few colleagues despises my way of working and my “bold” attitude however being frank and honest it’s my motto. If it’s needed to be said then I will not hesitate.

The projects I worked on are Lolirock S2, produced by Zodiac kids (ex Marathon media) and Belle and Sebastian produced by Gaumont Animation. Both projects come from France and so are the animation directors Will Manebard and Franck Bonay. They are great teachers and I have learnt a lot from them. 

I’m a hard worker and open minded but I respect people. I will be more grateful to hear “your scene is shitty please redo it nicely” than “great work!” and no useful comments… A bit masochist but you need to be a bit like this to survive, doent it?  3D is not my forte however I m a fast learner so If my profile matches your expectations, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
